Development work for the mobility of today and tomorrow
At the heart of operations is the development of bicycles and e-bikes in our in-house ZEG Tech Center. Here, we keep our finger on the pulse and design the latest models for our successful brands such as BULLS, PEGASUS, KETTLER, HERCULES, i:SY and WANDERER. At the same time, various departments within ZEG are working on the sustainable mobility of tomorrow, such as the TRAVELBIKE e-bike rental service for urban and tourist regions.
State-of-the-art infrastructure and exclusive quality standards
In addition to state-of-the-art infrastructure based on central purchasing at top prices and fast dealer availability via the 60,000 sqm central warehouse in Cologne, ZEG offers its members comprehensive services and solutions. With the ZEG quality workshop, an industry-unique standard with TÜV certification has been created, which our customers can rely on for repairs and maintenance.
Central online shops and individual specialist retailer websites are managed by ZEG Digital, and specialist retailers and employees are regularly trained in the latest technology at the ZEG Academy – and, since 2023, in more sustainable, environmentally friendly working practices. In addition, the show trucks of the various ZEG brands offer the opportunity to test current models conveniently and extensively at events.
Expansion of sustainable production in Germany
Together with all Cologne-based divisions of Kettler Alu-Rad GmbH, i:SY GmbH & Co. KG, Flyer AG, Veloland GmbH, Biketec GmbH, and Zweirad Einkaufs-Genossenschaft eG is one of the leading companies in the bicycle sector. The combination of traditional values and innovative concepts has always been a guarantee for continued success. ZEG is continuing along this path with the steady expansion of production in Germany. To this end, Europe's most modern bicycle factory was specially built in Sankt Ingbert, Saarland. The aim is to achieve more sustainable production in line with the highest quality standards.
